Tinkerer. July 2021 edited July 2021 in Swift and Spin Series. I have an Acer Spin 3 model SP314-53N-57BS whose keyboard has stopped working. The keyboard works in the BIOS and when booting from a live Linux USB but when in Windows 10, including the login screen, it doesn't work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard driver.
Driver Name:HID : Compliant driver. Acer spin I7. Following action has taken and didnt help. Run the trouble shoot. Use Fn +F7 to switch on the touchpad. Device and goes into touchpad setting switch it on. Update the driver using the device manager and Human interface. Uninstall and scan for hardware changes.
Acer SF314-41 touchpad not working. Hi I recently bought a new SF314-41 laptop, fresh out the box however after booting it up the trough pad mouse is not working, I am able to move the mouse using the pad but I can’t click anything. Inspire A515-54 Touchpad stopped working. I did a complete clean install of Win 10 Pro and had a usb mouse connected. Sometime after installing other software I noticed the touchpad not working. I installed the touchpad drivers from Acer website and still nothing. Set Bios to defaults just encase, still nothing.
well this is an 2 yeras old laptop. allways worked fine. win 8.1pro last month the touchpad stopped to work. so i went to the device manager and the ps/2 mouse is kinda removed..so i downloaded the right drivers and the problem was fixed. but 1 week after, the problem is back and im still dont have a working touchpad so im using a usb mouse.
