Salah satu warga setempat, Agus Supendi, mengatakan bahwa memang warna laut di sekitar Pantai Karapyak sangat unik. Tapi, kalau cuaca tidak cerah, gradasi warna itu tidak akan muncul," katanya. Dengan banyak warna laut, kadang ada wisatawan yang terpukau dengan keindahan laut Pantai Karapyak. "Katanya, warna lautnya aneh dan unik," ucap Agus. Satu karyawan di Teras Kaca Karapyak Valley, Rindi Antika, mengatakan, di tempat kerjanya biasa banyak wisatawan yang berswafoto di siang hari. "Karena, suasana warna langit dan awannya itu selalu mendukung. Terus, warna lautnya juga bagus. Jadi, pemandangan pantainya sangat indah," ujarnya. Kalau di sore hari, biasanya banyak orang atau wisatawan yang mengejar waktu sunset. "Biasanya, banyak anak muda yang mengambil view sunset buat berswafoto," kata Rindi. *
